✨AUDITION NOTICE✨

The Madeleines are thrilled to announce that we are launching in Brisbane, and we are seeking exceptional vocalists to join our brand-new Brisbane cast for 2026 and beyond!

About us:

The Madeleines are a professional vocal trio bringing jazz, swing, and timeless glamour to stages around the world. Performing beloved songs from the 1920s - 1960s in close three-part harmony, our shows combine polished vocals, choreography, and plenty of charm! Since our inception in 2021, we have performed over 800 shows, all over the globe and we are so excited to launch in Brisbane!

About you:
We are looking for strong singers with great dance/movement skills and fantastic stage presence.

Our shows are high energy and very interactive so we are looking for confident performers with great comedic timing and a natural warmth on stage.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have advanced close-harmony and vocal-blending skills. We are looking for performers with professional musical theatre or jazz experience that have singing, acting and dance training.

All performers must be Brisbane based.

About the Role:

All shows are paid, the exact fee varies from show to show.
Rehearsals are unpaid - all guide tracks, scripts, and choreography will be provided.

We perform in a wide range of settings including: cruise ships, corporate events, arts festivals, weddings, retirement villages, outdoor activations, theatres and private parties to name a few. We are looking for performers that are open to touring with us both nationally and internationally.

Audition Dates:

First Round: Self Tape - Submissions due 15th February 2026, 12pm

Location: APAC (Australian Performing Arts Conservatory)

Audition Brief:

Please record yourself singing a jazz tune of your choice. Please shoot landscape and introduce your song as you would if you were performing on stage.

Please also record a brief introduction to camera stating your name, location, any instruments you play and why you are interested in joining The Madeleines.
